From the people who adopted Ash:

I’m so sorry we forgot to give you updates about Ash. It just completely went out of my head. We haven’t really settled on a name for him. We call him a bunch of names, as he basically comes a-running whenever we open our mouths. (Andy Dwyer like the character from Parks and Rec is our current favorite. But sometimes we call him Crash Bandicoot like the videogame or just Floppy.) Anyway, he’s doing great. Incredibly cuddly. Pretty good friends with Monty, and beats up on him quite well.

Thought I’d send some pictures. They’re all from my iphone so they’re not the best. There’s also a video of them playing but I think it might be too big to attach, because it won’t let me. We keep their carriers next to each other on the steps that lead to nowhere (we live in an English basement, so it’s closed off from the rest of the house). And they’ve taken to napping in them at the same time. I think Jess might have more pictures that are better. And I’ll see what I can do about editing the video so it will fit in an email.

Ash Update!

So, Ash’s foster parents and foster brother Monty liked him sooo much that they decided fostering wasn’t quite enough, they want to hold on to him forever!  No word yet on if they’ll change his name, but I’m sure they’ll give us an update with new photos soon.

We just wanted to shoot you an update on Ash. He’s settling in nicely! He was a little unsure of Monty at first but they chased each other around all evening tonight and Ash even brushed up against him a few times. This is a picture of him watching Hocus Pocus with us. He’s doing great! On another note, we haven’t caught him using the litter box yet, but there hasn’t been any soft stools that we’ve noticed, and he’s eating regularly.

Yesterday was Ash’s last day with us, another SPCA volunteer home has taken him in because we will be out of town for a few upcoming weekends then then after that we’ll be quite busy for the next 18 years or so.
Today I’m posting the best photos from his last day photo shoot, to be used on his adoption page!  (he’ll get up there sometime Friday afternoon, the vet finally figured out the right medicine to clear up his loose stools so he is ready for a forever home!)
